2. Eligibility for Returns
2.1 Non-Personalized Items:
We accept returns for non-personalized physical products within 30 days of delivery, provided the item is unused, in its original condition, and includes all original packaging.
2.2 Personalized Items:
Due to the customized nature of these products, personalized items are non-returnable and non-refundable, unless:
- The product arrives damaged or defective.
- There is an error in customization caused by us.
2.3 Digital Products:
Refunds for digital products are not available once the file has been downloaded or accessed, except in cases of technical issues or if the file does not match the description.
3. Conditions for Returns
To qualify for a return:
- The item must be in the same condition as when you received it.
- Proof of purchase (e.g., order confirmation email or receipt) is required.
4. Return Process
4.1 Initiating a Return: To start a return, please email us at [email protected] with the following details:
- Order number
- Reason for return
- Photos of the product and packaging (if applicable)
4.2 Return Authorization: Once your return request is approved, you will receive instructions on how to send the item back to us.
4.3 Shipping Costs:
- Customer Responsibility: Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., wrong item sent, defective product).
- Non-Refundable Fees: Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
- Claims for Damaged Goods: It is the customer’s responsibility to file all damaged freight claims with the carrier unless otherwise agreed upon in writing with Copper Forest Designs LLC.
5. Refunds
5.1 Processing Time: Once we receive your return, we will inspect it and notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Approved refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days of receipt of the return, to your original payment method.
5.2 Partial Refunds: Partial refunds may be issued for items:
- Not in their original condition, missing parts, or damaged by the customer.
- If there is an error on our part and the customer chooses to keep the item instead of returning it
5.3 Non-Refundable Items:
- Personalized products (unless defective).
- Digital products (once accessed).
- Gift cards.
6. Exchanges
Exchanges are only available for non-personalized items and are subject to stock availability. To initiate an exchange, follow the return process outlined above and indicate that you prefer an exchange. Additional shipping costs may apply.
7. Damaged or Defective Items
If your order arrives damaged or defective, please contact us at [email protected] within 5 days of delivery. We will arrange for a replacement or refund at no additional cost to you, providing the following criteria have been met:
- For damaged or defective items, photographic evidence must be provided within 5 days of receipt.
- Photographs of damaged outer packaging prior to opening must be provided or the return may be denied. Photographs of outer and inner packaging must be provided for all damaged items.
